Verizon for years was criticized for not courting the manufacturers to run their latest models in VZW, then it was lambasted for letting the iPhone slip out of its grips (I am guilty of this myself!) ... but all their efforts were going into building their network and the eventual purchase of Alltell which made essentially made them the biggest & most complete carrier in the US. Now all of the phone manufacturers (albeit Apple apparently) seem to be courting Verizon. As a 9+ year VZW Customer (ever since I moved to the US) all I have to say is BRING IT ON 'cus this is absolutely awesome. :-)

Yes, Verizon has seemed to take the slow and steady approach...until now, they are certainly revving the engines. Now, if only they weren't a bunch of arrogant twits to speak with (coverage reviews are stellar, customer service reviews drag them down every time), I might consider switching. FYI, "albeit" means "although", not "except"

@Cali_E, what's the point of calling someone a fag? Seriously. If you're Brittish, then calling someone a cigar isn't much of an insult (Or maybe it is in London). If you're not, then you're just a bigot. Either way, you sir/madam are lame.

Um doesnt Verizon Wireless have the best Customer service, i think they won JD Power and Associates for last year and probably years before that. Oh and 2010 also.

Competition at its finest! Phone are becoming the close relative to the computer industry. New models and configurations are saturating the market. What's next ya know? This is a really good thing for the consumer.

@ Narmer - I've been with big red a since PrimeCo. A short leave for VoiceStream until they became T-Mo. I would agree that their CS was lousy & their selection weak. But I've noticed in the last 12 to 18 months their CS in Texas has been stellar. Super nice, informative, and willing to please. They are pricey, but I need them for travel. If CS is the only thing holding you back, look again at some point.
