Motorola CEO breaks off speculations on early WM7 release
It looks like Microsoft’s mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 7, will not be released very soon. At least this is what Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola, revealed. According to him, we’ll see the long-expected Windows Mobile 7 in 2010 at the earliest. In the beginning, it was rumored that the latest addition to the operating system will be released in the early 2009, but it was eventually delayed for the second half of the year. Unfortunately, the information, provided by Mr. Jha, is now suggesting that such possibility is highly unlikely.

We can still hope that the announcement of Motorola’s CEO is referred only to the future Motorola phones that are going to run Microsoft’s OS, however, either way we’ll have to wait long enough until the official release. Still, don’t forget that we have WM6.5 coming up first.
