Too bad this device won't work to its full potential, being on a unreliable network and all. And good luck with the whole 3G issue too, hope the ones that buy this live in a major city that at least have 3G.

I'm seeing this device being replaced often for the keypad not responding from being in pockets, purses, etc.....but it is definitely an interesting device.....

this phone was a really crazy idea, or they just screwed up. maybe they made the phone, finished the screen and keyboard for 2 different parts of the phone, and made the hinge the wrong way... after saying that, they said um... tadaa! a new idea/phone! and people who work there are like, yea, its a really good phone, and thats how it made. or stick to the boring one where they made the phone like that purposely. interesting idea, nice phone, but 2 MAJOR flaws. 1st its for ATT, on the commercials saying the the map of verizons dont add up, and then talking about multitasking, and downloade apps only for ONLY ONE PHONE off topic... but 2nd the keyboard might break easily...

I agree, but the iPhone can't fully multitask. The DROID can really multitask, it defines multitasking. So what if you can talk and surf on 3G ONLY. I can talk and surf when I'm on WiFi, so it sounds even to me. But what the Droid can do is run multiple apps at the same time. I'm able to use GPS navigator (which is free!) and stream Pandora radio at the same time. And if I recieve a text all I have to do is drag the top notification bar down and access my messages. While streaming and playing music I can surf the web, download apps, update apps, text, widgets still running, etc. And I don't have to stop doing one thing to do another. That is true multitasking. When you have to pull the phone away from your ear to check a web page isn't multitasking, you're putting one task on hold. Thats just my 2 cents.

I bet the back of that phone (and by back i mean the back when its opened) LOOKS LIKE SHIITT. This is the only phone i know of that has 2 backs that are completely open. What is the purpose of having a keyboard on the BACK of the phone??? They might have had something if they would have made it a slider or at least a legit clamshell. but this... lmao. This and the cliq (not so much the cliq but still falls into the category) SUCKS. Motorola had somethin going with the droid and milestone but wth is this stuff. I'm assuming its aimed at a younger audience but who in there right mind would pay iphone pricing for AT&T's shitty service... especially for a child/teen.
