Moto Z2 Force and Z2 Play leak out again, this time in a family photo
After the successful Moto Z family of smartphones released in 2016, Motorola Mobility is getting ready to unveil a Moto Z2 series. This should include a regular Moto Z2, a Moto Z2 Force, and a Moto Z2 Play.

Thanks to a new leak, the Z2 Force and Z2 Play can now be seen next to each other - in what appears to be an image that Motorola itself will be using to promote the Z2 series.

This new image - embedded below - doesn't reveal anything that we didn't already know (since we've seen the two handsets before, albeit separately). But it does allow us to notice that, design wise, there aren't too many differences between the Z2 Force and Z2 Play. To be clear, the Z2 Force is the smartphone with black front and dual rear camera, while the Z2 Play is the one with white front and a single rear camera. Both devices have fingerprint scanners below their displays, and LED flashes for their front cameras. Moreover, both will support MotoMods.

According to previous rumors, the Z2 Force sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD ShatterShield display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The Z2 Play likely comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen (not ShatterShield), and a Snapdragon 626 processor. Needless to say, the Z2 Play will be cheaper than the Z2 Force.

The Moto Z2 family could be officially announced on June 8 (this date is visible on the home screens of both phones). Unlike the Z Force from last year, the Z2 Force will likely not be a Verizon-exclusive device, as T-Mobile and Sprint could also sell it.

Update: Another leaked image (the second one included below) shows the Moto Z2 Play next to the original Moto Z and Z Play.
