Moto G with memory card slot and 4G LTE radio is unveiled, starting at $219

0. phoneArena 13 May 2014, 05:53 posted on

Alongside the low-end Moto E, Motorola finally made good on its promise to out a 4G LTE version of the Moto G blockbuster. You are getting the same specs - a 4.5" 720p display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 5 MP rear camera, but, besides the LTE radio, the phone has been upgraded in one very important count - the expandable storage. Yep, we are now having a Moto G with a microSD slot, so you can add up to 32 GB more memory to the 8 GB/16 GB that you get out of the box...

Stupid invite system. Its like u are always begging people on forums for an invite as it would be free of any cost with that stupid invitation.

I personally would spend the extra $80 on the one plus one. But I'm also willing to pay $350 for the 64 gig version.

The moment they moved from Google, they gave the consumer a MicroSD Slot...
Good one...

I doubt that. This has been in the works for awhile. If anything, it wasn't until version 4.4 that an sd card could actually work properly as it should.

If the SD card is primary storage then it will work perfect.

The problem with picking between the 3G & 4G version is I don't need (or use) 4G, but I "need" a microSD card slot (my Lumia 710 is just enough to store all my songs, pictures, and apps, and with about 1GB of storage left)

Moto is on a roll.
Wtg Lenovo, don't let that Good name stagnate on a shelf.
These actually will squeeze Nokia in its market class, the coming year will be investing.

Only one of my four lines is under any contract anymore, and with prices/specs like this coming from Moto I'll probably never have to enter another one.

Now it beats the LG Optimus L90.
Nice, Moto.

I still think the LG Options L90 is better. Price difference is only $9 (L90 from T-Mobile $228 and Moto G LTE from Google $219). L90 has just a slight bigger screen 4.7 instead of 4.5. L90 also has a bigger battery 2,460 battery instead of 2,070.
