More worrying evidence of the iPhone 6 Plus' fragility: see it easily getting bent on video

Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus seems to be more fragile than you'd expect. The device's ultra-thin aluminum body can be bent easily...

I can imagine a Samsung Note 4 commercial burning the iPhone 6 Plus that says to Apple:

"you're copying it wrong"

Wow that escalated quickly. About time for reviewers to stop calling iPhone as the most premium phone in terms of Design and Build Quality.

IMO, the most premium design goes to HTC for their M8 and most premium build quality goes to Sony for literally all their devices in the Z series. Never heard an Xperia got bent or dented or exploded in any cases. Heck even the 6.5mm Xperia Z Ultra is way more Durable.

They should try and copy galaxy alpha and make use of hard metal frame instead of aluminiun. THe problem is not the thinness but the low quality of aluminium used. The quality of thE alumilium was not properly tested before its approval. They will call back all the iphone Already sold for correCtion.

Apple I think will give Iphone 6 plus owners a Protective case until the reinforced model comes out. truth is why would a person put smart phone that big in their pocket. when a
smart phone get above 5 inches I think a person needs a belt pouch to carry it.

I have a Lumia 1520 (6") and I carry it in my jeans pocket all the time, no problem... Don't make up excuses; just another "you're holding it wrong" moment! :-D

Nexus 5 is the same size as the iPhone 6 so I am sure bigger than 5 inches can fit your pockets just fine.

I think Apple should immidiately stop selling this phone and go back to the drawing board. I know it has been said many times, but Jobs would probably check it's durability before approving such a design. People should get their money back period.

It is obvious that the buttons cutouts weaken the case structure, which means that Apple engineers did a sloppy job calculating the stresses, one more proof of rushed design and sacrifices in the name of fashion.

Apple's designs are normally really nice and detail-oriented. This is sort of disgraceful to see, considering their status to the general public.

Question is, how the heck did it pass quality check and no way Apple arent aware this problem. They knew about this and just released it anyway. Since iZombies will just accept it, since its a new iphone feature, a phone that u can bend and form as u like. If u dont like iBend feature, u can get a free bumper case and strengthen the sides. :)

Jony Ive = bloated buggy versions of iOS, lame crap design of the iPhone 6 and iWatch. Without Jobs, Apple is basically a bunch of regressive inmates running an asylum.

It doesn't matter if it bends as long as it's made of premium materials and has premium feeling. Who needs crap plastics and a sturdy phone?! If my iPhone bends I'll just get another one. I only care about the premium feeling. The iPhone is a statement!
