Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus seems to be more fragile than you'd expect. The device's ultra-thin aluminum body can be bent easily...

HTC One max also made of Aluminium. I never heard any complaints about HTC like this.

First apple copied LG's Prada phone and now they've copied the LG G Flex.

Apple must love & obey LG LMAO

They are using an incredibly cheap aluminium btw.. so this is no surprice.. Steel is the real premium not aluminium.

Stainless and titanium. Neither are good for phone signals or pricing though.

There are people who can afford them, and would love those materials. Like me.

There's no problem with signal. They will need to use 4 or 8 antennas.

With the exorbitant price that they charge from customers, they could've easily put a steel framing on the sides!!

It's thin, it's aluminum...what do you expect?
Or maybe it's high-time to ditch aluminum?

Another -gate, another day lol

When he said scientific methodology, I wasn't expecting a guy holding a phone in his hands and applying pressure. Regardless though, it bent far too easily for what a phone should suffer.

To the writers who lavish Apple with premium build quality and materials (aka. aluminum), you should start being less biased after seeing how easily their new phone bent.

And it's sad how people find excuses for a phone bending so easily. Footprint size has nothing to do with this because the engineering should not allow a phone to be bent so easily as shown in the video above.

We'll thats what apple gets changing it to such a garbage design and people who bought it right away you guys deserve that bend on your IP6 plus that's too dam big for a iPhone Steve jobs wanted it to be manageable in the hand not android size.

This is sad. Its ridiculously expensive and made of highly praised premium materials, but easily bendable.

Maybe highly praised propaganda, but aluminum is cheap! In fact it is the cheapest metal on earth, you know, the one everyone throughs cans of in the trash!

This is almost as ridiculous as 'let's drop glass on concrete and see if it breaks'...I can bend quite a lot of things by grabbing it with both hands and applying pressure. It's an expensive phone people, look after it!!

You just sad it yourself ,drop glass on concrete and see if it will break, the 6+ is just as fragile, you don't have to mistreat it for it to bend

It looks and feels cheap, but durable.

But then you need to think, if Apple used sevral layers of aluminium, it would've not bend.

Lumia polycarbonate looks and feels anything but cheap! I've lost count of the iPhone and Android owners that have complimented the looks of my 1520...

But it's practical device first that you use, every day, most of your time, so durability is very important.

It is absolutely staggering just how many people did not read the article. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that it's only the iDrones who choose not to read.

This is why they shouldn't make phones too damn thin. Rather have bigger battery.
