Big jump with the hardware...
But i'm not a big fan of the almost 5 inch screen!!
Maybe the 8 core GPU will come useful for tablets and PC's...

If those rumors are true then the s4 would definitely be the best smartphone ever made!

The s4 wil only be the best smartphone ever built when it is released, soon after that some other phone well take that title. I'm also pretty confident that sooner or later everybody will just be buying Samsung branded devices just because they think.it's a premium brand and they will end up like Apple where they have equal haters and hardcore fans. I'm just saying a point here not trying to bash Samsung at any means, love my galaxy note 1 , planning to buy the note 3 next year. Not everybody can stay on top for a long time

personally, I would probably eventually consider getting a Windows Phone. If you could find the bloody things in Canada. There are like absolutely, to my knowledge, no Windows Phones available here up North unless you import. Quite sad and pathetic really.

I like the phone that works best for me which has not generally been Samsung. But it looks like it will be since Samsung is about the only maker that is still using removable batteries.

Because as soon as it is announced, apple will try to have it banned. That's why.

While I loathe Apple to no end, and love bashing the hell out of it to no end, in comparison to practically every manufacturer, you have a valid point. But, to be fair, if we didn't bring Apple into this, you and everyone else knows that an iWhore would.

Everything about the Galaxy S4 sounds great n' all and Sammy has really pushed the waters when it comes to screen sizes in smartphones, but where is the line they're going to draw between the Galaxy S series & the Galaxy Note series?

I was thinking the exact same thing when i first saw this article on another website the logical thing to do is to eventually merge the 2 series together into one phone and have a smaller mini version of the S4/5 (theoretically) so then it reaches a broader audience cos with a 5" screen its dangerously close to the Note line of phones all it really needs is the S-pen

Well I don't know how I feel about them merging those 2 series together.

Just based on their sizes and ergonomics alone, the Note series is more tablet-like in nature and is more suited towards people that want to mediate between a tablet and a smartphone.

The Galaxy S series, is more of a premium smartphone in the same league as the 4.7 inch smartphones and below, including but not limited to: HTC One X, Nexus 4, Razr Maxx HD, or even the Galaxy S2, etc.

I think that both the Galaxy S series & the Galaxy Note series can still be successful as separate entities, but I do think that size & ergonomics play an important role in their distinctions, as well as their target audiences.

"the line is drawn HERE AND NO FURTHER" call that reference and you are awesome. but in all seriousness 4.99 should be the stopping point. Note 3 though most likely will be 6 inches of sexyness

.

This is the BEST comment I've ever seen on this post !!

Samsung is really doing a great job .. its whole lot of innovations are taking a smartphone to a new level. E.g. Look at the potential of the Samsung Galaxy Note II .. its Awesome .. really, its Awesome .. no other words for it ..

I'm really waiting for their next flagship !!

I have to laugh. A smartphone with a stylus will never even be looked at as something that is conceivably doable because of how against it Steve Jobs was, and yet, you look at devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note II, which a stylus. And are beyond successful. Just look at how many useful, and awesome, extra features that are on the Note II, that without the stylus, wouldn't be possible, or wouldn't be reliable. I think that Apple could legitimately learn a thing or 2 from Samsung. Things they aren't learning while they try to quell innovation by trying to f****** everyone over in courts.

Yea kinda but there still more important than mega pixels... But the resolution over 720p is.. I do prefer lcd over amoled and my s3 screen on auto brightness is always too dim I hate the phone actually lol.
