More pictures of the Motorola DROID Bionic
Otherwise, what can we say? The phone looks like one of the Motorola DROID family and as the Verizon roadmap said, we could be looking at a September 8th launch of one of the most highly anticipated handsets this year. Pricing is still unknown and the size of the display still remains a mystery. But do you like what you see so far?

Apparently you have been living under a rock for the last 7 months. Not too long after they showed the "original", they cancelled it and replaced it with this. It has been documented several times lol

you may be right but still you got to admit that the old one was one sexy phone and the new one looks boring and just plan

It could be pink with sparkles and I would get it if it has the features and performance I want/need at an acceptable price.
Sure comment on form-factor, screen is skinny hard to type like the person further down in the comments.
But don't be a douche and make your purchase decision based on "it's ugly"

Are you serious do you know how much money companies like Motorola, lg, htc and Samsung spend on the forum factor of a phone let me tell you its billions.
so dont tell me it dosent matter because it does, buying a phone is like buying anything else it has to look sexyyy and this phone aint got it

No it doesn't matter, this isn't a tie clip, belt buckle, earrings, or Flava-Flavs Clock. Its a phone that sits in your pocket much of the time.
If you choose to stand around the "club" fake'n like you are someone talking into a "sexy" phone hoping to get chicks that you don't have to pay. Then maybe "sexy" is a quality that is important to you, I mean it must be vital to your "game".
I don't dis-believe you that companies spend a ton of money on aesthetics.
What a freaking waste! It's a sad sad state that consumers are making purchase decisions weighting aesthetics above or among aspects that actually make the device useful.
To top it off I have to pay for it. Either in higher priced phones or in lower quality, less-features.
Now I can understand aesthetics being the tie breaker given all other actual meaningful aspects (to the customer)of the product are there.

hahaha your pretty funny but first of all im 16 so... no clubs for me lol.
and second off all every body knows the first thing you see in any device or "thing" is its look. im not saying that i buy phones just based on there looks but thats the first thing you see so its really important not just to me but probably 90% of people.
I'm not trying to argue with you but all im saying is the old bionic looked amazing and the new one looks like a cross over between the droid x and the triumph

Those companies spend BILLIONS on developing the form factor of a cell phone???? I think you fell and hit your head, or else you are a complete uneducated dumbass. Did you ever hear of the Yamaha YZR M1? If not, google it. It's a Moto-GP bike that was/is built strictly through racetrack research and development by Yamaha's flagship racing department (engineers and designers). The price of that bike is around 30 million dollars. Please explain to me why Motorola, or these other cell phone companies are spending BILLIONS of dollars on just the way a cell phone looks, when Yamaha can spend 30 million on a cutting edge state of the art racebike that is one of the fastest and most technologically advanced motorcycles in the world.

bro just chill, your taking this way to serious i just want to know why they changed the look of the phone that's all.
Also your right i may be exaggerating about the "billions" but i do know they spend alot of money on the design of a phone and if you don't agree your the dumbass because every thing you see around you somebody had to put lots of effort and money into it and for you to say it doesn't matter that's just ignorant

this further proves my theory that Webtop is what's keeping some of these Motorola handsets from getting the latest build of the Application's Platform.

Why Motorola insists in tall screens? That layout sucks big time for typing in portrait mode, hate to say it but Apple makes good use of just 3.5 inch screen for typing in portrait, why MOTO doesn't go a little wider and shorter? Just a little please

I agree, that's why I like Samsung and MOST HTC phones like the Thunderbolt/EVO for example. The EVO IMO, was nearly perfect in size. It had a nice large and wide screen that made typing easy

screw that...the 16:9 aspect ratio is awesome on my OG droid (running at 1.1ghz for 18 months and counting btw). I love that i have ratio parity between my phone, laptop, and television. 16:10 and 15:9 leave little black bars if an app works properly (lame) or stretches or crops the video (even lamer).

I actually like the tall screen, because it's more comfortable in my hand, and easier for one handed typing/scrolling around.

You guys all know that this is just a copy of the photon 4G right?
12. no (unregistered)
No idiot, its not. The photon is a somewhat copy of THIS phone. This phone has been built since May.
Learn your history
20. Sniggly (Posts: 6199; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
It's...kind of supposed to be a copy, dude. After all, Moto made both. Do you really expect one company to spend time and money coming up with completely different flagship phones for each carrier?
But you're still cool, dude.

FUQ the ugly fat ass bionic, this isn't the droid I'm looking for! Where the fuq is the galaxy s2! Who's with me?
16. FUQ? Seriously? (unregistered)
Dude, first off they're both going to be great phones, but no one knows for sure if the sg2 has 4g, which matters to me if im trying to buy a top of the line phone, second I would take moto blur over SenseUI any day, third all of samsungs phones feel cheep and plasticy, and fourth.... FUQ........................? That automatically makes your comment irrelevant
22. Goldeneye (Posts: 344; Member since: 22 Jan 2011)
And what does Sense UI has to do with this? Samsung has touch wiz MOTO has blur, you'd take blur over sense? well to each his own

I work for Verizon and not even I can get into phones as much as you all. At least be really into something cool...like tits.

I've learned over the years, that people that make comments like this, aren't getting any. No your blow up doll doesn't count. JK. LOL.
