I am glad I waited! I think . . . the Env Touch looks extremely appealing since you don't have to have that extra 30$ a month fee.

Very true. Verizon is going no where with there plans. Hopefully that will change. T-mobiles plans are much cheaper than Verizon. If they want people to switch over they should maybe do something about that.

tmobile plans are cheap because there service sucks. i mean seriosly people why dont you realize that if you want teh best coverage and better data transfers MONEY has to be invested. Verizon nor ATT can offer that if their plans are dirt cheap like Tmobile and Sprint. Seriously. Verizon and ATT plans are basically identical. and if you dont believe me just check the website. its a fact that VZW and ATT are the more expensive companies BUT we offer the best coverage. Tmobile doesnt. The fact that they have cheaper plans means absolutely nothing. If it did wouldnt you think theyde be the largest carrier? Stop expecting the more for less. Development and advancements in technology costs but the company and consumers.

tmobile can offer their plans for less money because their network sucks moron.. you get what you pay for...

Absolutely right. You get what you pay for, if you want a cheap plan and terrible service go with t-mobile. I checked into AT&T and I would save a whopping five dollars if I went to AT&T. The ONLY AT&T has going for it the exclusive on the i-phone which will change next year, and then everyone will have it, and theyll be just another company who had to merge to stay afloat.

the storm2 probably won't be out till august, according to crackberry. unless they rush it & the same crap happens when the 1st came out. have an omnia & gonna upgrade to a tour. miss my qwerty keyboard. :( palm& apple coming out with their new devices. hope rim's will power is good, & don't screw this one up!

On the storm there is an application that you can download so that the phone can do a soft reset and you do not have to take the battery out. This has fixed many of the issues on that storm . Personally I do not like that phone people get it that have never owned a blackberry and expect to come in the store for the simple things and it really irritates me.

Honestly, being a Mac only user, and an avid user of the ipod touch, I think I'll pass on this one, and wait out my contract and see if anything about an iphone coming to VZW comes to fruition. My experience with my Storm has been one of both extreme frustration and also delight. I love the options/abilities of having a smartphone, but a buggy system, and EXTREMELY limited Mac support for the Storm has caused me too much headache. I'm not a business user so I don't necessarily "need" all the things that the BB is better for than the current iphone. And up until the announcement of OS 3.0 for the iphone, I didn't like A LOT of what the OS on the iphone had to offer. But with all those things getting fixed, I'll look more closely at the iphone when/if it comes to VZW. The fact that the iphone is with AT&T is the last thing left to overcome before I would/will get one. My experience with the Storm has just left a really bad taste in my mouth for products from RIM.

Ha! I'll take your comment to the bank in, I would say at least a year, no more than two. Since Apple is a company, and companies are in business to provide products to consumers to...make money, I would definitely disagree that the iphone "is not coming to VZW". I'll bet anything that when this exclusive deal with AT&T runs out, other carriers (especially ones actively deploying an LTE network) will get a shot at an iphone or some kind of similar device. It wouldn't make sense for Apple to keep total and utter exclusivity with AT&T forever. And since my contract isn't up til next October, I think by then something will have been announced/happeded.

You are hilarious!! The iPhone was trash when it first came out? That is just too funny. The iPhone is a great phone and that is why we have so many carriers releasing the supposed iPhone Killer. If the iphone was trash then these other carriers wouldn't be scrambling around to find an iPhone Killer. I used to have a Blackberry Curve and it was a great phone and it did what I needed it to do. Now I have an iPhone and I really can't complain. Just like all phones the iPhone has pros and cons.

blackberry needs this to work out.. they could really take over market share across all carriers if they could get the software down for the storm and release it to all other carriers... while iphone is a huge success in its own respect people crave blackberry.. I'm sure there's nothing more that people want than a touch blackberry for all service providers including att.. people who have att want competition within the carrier.. it will drop phone and data service prices if anything so more power to blackberry... dr

I don't understand why people are obsessed with blackberries... honestly, the smartphone functionality is nice, but it is very limited as far as customization goes... the whole point of a smartphone is the open access it provides... Symbian and Windows OS are nice becuase you are virtually unlimited in what you can do on it. I have been a WinMo user for 6 years and tried a blackberry curve for 30 days and was eager to give it back. I know there are a lot of windows haters out there, but I think if you actually learned how to use the device you would like it. Blackberry is nice becuase no intelligence is needed to run the device... seriously 5th graders have curves and pearls now... it saddens me. Android was supposed to be open and easily manipulated to fit the user, but that still hasn't happened, and apple is just as tight as far as customization goes as RIM. Symbian and windows are my favorite smartphone platforms. Let the RIM and Apple lover hate comments toward me commence!

Just because 5th graders have Curves and Pearles now doesn't mean they know how to use the phone to it's full potential. What is this customization you are speaking of? as far as i'm concerned my Blackberry is tweaked and customized to fit my personal needs?

LOL I work for Verizon and have Tmobile, and I will never switch because the service does not suck at all. Their 3G is as fast as Verizon's and ATT's and TETHERING comes with the Blackberry plan you don't have to pay $30 extra like you do with Verizon. Sure ATT and Verizon have coverage in more places then Tmobile and that's what makes them more expensive, but I never have had a dropped call with TMO and other then taking forever to come out with 3G i'v been very happy with them.
