On Wednesday, we passed along a picture claiming to show an accurate mock-up of the upcoming HTC One 2. This model, the sequel to the HTC One flagship, is rumored to get unveiled in late February at MEC 2014 in Barcelona. According to one analyst, the One 2 (or the One Two) will be a series of smartphones designed to win market share back for the Taiwan based manufacturer. Currently, HTC has between 3% and 4% of the global smartphone market...

As long as they don't confuse the consumers because it seems HTC is good at doing that.

Please don't overprice your phones and advertise more of your phones, HTC! Good luck!

Price your phones reasonably.. let the customers feel more value for money.. you are not apple and you dont have ifools to spend no matter what to get it... get rid of gimmcky camera, even s3 camera can take better photos then htc one.. indeed htc one is the best looking phone but feels quite expensive for andriod set

I already have 4.3 on my butterfly, id say their software updates are on track atm :)

Yeah but what's really important is that they keep updating even after another flagship is released. Htc has abandoned the One X, Sensation, Desire HD, and many many more..

Desire HD is history haha. I dont see other companies updating phones that old.
Sensation should have been upgraded more tbh, I have my doubts on the lack of ram for a fluid experience though...
One X was updated to 4.2.2 with Sense 5 this year, so I wouldnt say it has been abandoned. In fact id say thats pretty good given most other flagships are still on 4.2 as well.
I would like to see htc update flagships including/after the One X get updated to 4.4 next year though

I mean they abandoned Desire HD very soon, right after the Sensation released, and it didn't get an update after that.

SEA people dont have cash to buy htc one ? Try indonesia market like oppo . They are really serious marketing their product at indonesia every province right now . What htc lack is marketing . For high end consumer we dont really care the price just provide good customer service in every big city and of course good product plus massive marketing like samsung and oppo.

Unfortunately, here HTC one now costs USD 560/unit while Galaxy S4 = USD 520/unit, G2 = USD 530/unit, Xperia Z1 = USD 555/unit. I love the design of the One but i don't like its invalid Ultrapixel Camera on the phone. I think HTC one should be at USD 400/unit is more reasonable but how can if the One mini costs USD 430 while S4 mini costs USD 350, S3 = USD 370, Lumia 920 = USD 375, Lumia 925 = USD 430. I request HTC to give up its 4pm ultrapixel and bring down the price in order to make your products more competitive.

Put microsd slot,3000mAh + battery,OIS camera, less bezels, your designs are the best and spend $100 million+ on 2-3 minutes advertisements and you are done!!!
People in my country don't even know what is HTC!

New series again? Haven't you learned HTC? The original Galaxy S was far from a runaway success, sure it ended up selling millions but it took a long time and only ended up selling because of the success of it's successors.
Slowly build on people's misconceptions of the HTC One being as good as the tech sites say, don't scrap it and start a new series already. Lol

every thing was and is perfect in champ HTC ONE just one thing breaks the deal and that was 4UP camera i think if they put 13 MP it would be best and does more research on UP and expand it to atleast 8UP and then brought it in the market then that would be a success
I hope they will make their mistake/hurry correct take patient and make HTC ONE's successer PERFECT

i will gladly pay 600 for an HTC One with a 3200 battery. I currently own the G2 and it's battery is the only like super high point. Other than that it's a boring phone. For me sense 5 is the most gorgeous OS i've seen. Hopefully HTC surprises us in 2014. I think HTC and LG are underdogs that make better phones than their competition. I would buy an HTC One right now if the 2nd generation wasn't so close!
