I saw that the VU didn't get very good reviews, is the Dare gonna be any better?

they arent the same phone genius

80. (unregistered) posted on 15 Jun 2008, 23:09

ya they are

104. (unregistered) posted on 18 Jun 2008, 15:27

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PHONES: DAre is closer to PRADA phone (which came out way before I-phone and if you ask me looks way nicer too), and also closer to the Voyager.... its like saying the Moto RZR was the same for every carrier and it wasn't....VZW USUALLY charges more for their phones cause they like using more durable materials for their phones (Trust me on this ) plus they actually test their phones HEAVILY before they put them out for sale.... Unlike the PS3 or the Xbox 360 which are clear examples of companies gaining more profit by selling to customers for just the Hype, i remember that crap after sleeping 2 hours and waiting another 17 in front of a Best Buy just to get my xbox so by the end of the month i would have to spend anothe $200 to repair it nonsense.... Speaking about Best Buy?? I have a Best Buy credit card that i would love to use to buy my LG DARE, any one know if Best Buy will have it on Jule 3rd?????

NO KEYBOARD? WOW. THATS THE DUMBEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD OF.

57. (unregistered) posted on 14 Jun 2008, 14:29

well then don't get the phone

59. Esquire0399 posted on 14 Jun 2008, 16:50

I bet you think the iPhone is amazing, don't you?

65. (unregistered) posted on 15 Jun 2008, 00:07

that's the one thing i'm worried about...with a t9 keyboard you can text without actually looking at the phone fairly easily. it will be harder when you can't feel the keys. Hopefully it will only take some adjustment tho

66. (unregistered) posted on 15 Jun 2008, 00:08

sorry keypad. im not a fan of qwerty. i think t9 is a much faster and more useful technology for small devices like cell phones

68. (unregistered) posted on 15 Jun 2008, 02:58

i hope june 26th is true. that is the last day that my new every two is good

69. Esquire0399 posted on 15 Jun 2008, 08:41

The Dare will definitely be released online on the 26th, but if even if something happens and it isn't, VZW won't take your NE2 away. I've never, ever heard of that happening and I know people who have held onto the NE2 for over a year.

74. (unregistered) posted on 15 Jun 2008, 14:48

My NE2 came up in Feb 2007 and I still get promos in the mail asking me to use renew my contract and use my NE2 discount. They will not take it away from you.

81. (unregistered) posted on 16 Jun 2008, 13:54

You can keep your NE2 for as long as you want. There's nothing saying you have to use it right away

102. (unregistered) posted on 17 Jun 2008, 23:15

on the verizon website it does say that new every two is only good six months after your two years but it seems they dont enforce that. guess they want you to be locked in for another two years more than they want the $100 (or $50)
