More Motorola phones now support Motorola Alert

As expected, Motorola Alert is now supported by the Motorola Moto X and the Motorola Moto G. This is an app that quickly alerts your friends and family when you need help. At the same time, notifications are sent out with your address so that you can be found. And with the app, you can arrange to have messages sent out automatically to family whenever you arrive and leave school, work or your home...

I'm pretty sure there are apps that do this already.

False. Just think, if you had a hobby you wouldn't have to spend all day trolling people and desperately trying to justify/validate your blind allegiance to apple.
Or keep on keeping on, I don't give a s***. Not like you ever have anything of substance to say LOL.

I'm pretty sure Apple isn't doing anything with iOS 8 that that hasn't already been done by another company year(s) ago. So what's your point?

I have Moto G & it still says this app is incompatible..?

I maybe wrong but its mostly because such app updates/rollouts are done in phrases and it may not have hit the region in which you're living in. Try checking in few days.

Hi there. Yes you are right & it's not working until I get the android 4.4.3 update which I hope comes sooner then later. Motorola has not replied to me yet & Cricket said they have not gotten any updates yet.. When I had Moto G bought from Amazon, The updates came right away!

Motorola has really stepped up their game. I inquired earlier on their chat & they are going to send me another like new Moto G under their exchange program. I wasn't expecting all that & it will of course have the latest updates. As I think there is a disconnect now between Cricket and Moto with the usual back and fourth. Motorola says they have released all updates & Cricket says they haven't gotten anything.. I should have gotten a previous update before as well from when they were AIO & I bought the phone. I guess that is why they offered me another. But I was like wowsa & yes I'll take it & gladly send you my current one after I get it :)

Wow that's some real good customer service. I thought only Apple and high-end phones receive such good customer service.
Let me know when your new phone arrives so that I can send you my address :3
Really impressed with Moto !

Hello I am starting to get concerned that Cricket Wireless is not supporting the Moto G properly.. I bought mine direct from when it was AIO & Motorola has begun rolling out this software update for it to fix some things and bring improvements to this version 4.4.3 . Mine has not gotten this and when I check it still says up to date.. Does the update come from Motorola direct or is Cricket going to control it..? No one seems to answer or know when I google it. Motorola used to list Aio as one of the carriers for the G also. Now they don't.. Anyone here know??

Cricket has to deliver it since those jerks at att have to customize it to break wifi tethering on it.
At least they price it somewhat right at $99 at times, but in the end I feel it isn't worth it.
