dont know.. BB is just not exciting anymore..
It might make good business sense as far as data security is concerned... But if that is not a concern then i need to know areas where BB bests iOS or mainly Android...
On top of that their expensive services

Blackberry Maps? It would be a shame if that turned out to be better than Apple Maps... For a giant company like Apple with billions at their disposal to go into development, to be bested by a company barely hanging on. It would throw that "Nothing's perfect when it first launches" argument out the window, and everyone will just have to accept that Apple just did a terrible job.
Anyways, I'm interested in BB10. From all the press and screenshots, it looks nice. Let's just hope RIM can get it out a bit earlier than January, the longer the wait the less of an impact they'll have, or maybe the anticipation will only grow; it could go either way.

I've always liked BlackBerry... Had 2 devices from them. I think they'll always be in the mobile OS game, maybe not as popular as the "common" iOS devices, as it seems that most of their customers from what I see are wealthy business people and other high-end clients.

not really ! in my country (bb nation) the scavengers are using BB TORCH!!! i swear!
bb torch is equal to 370 bucks
you can't judge people's economy by their phones, im not rich but i can afford the gnex, on the other hand my rich friends are only using bb curve 8520

Like it or not, but we need Blackberry to enter the market with a new OS for the Sake of competition. It will be a huge win for consumers. More competition will lead to more innovation.

Heres my take not like anyone gives a rats ass:
I own an iphone 5 because someone didnt want theirs so i traded my galaxy s3 which was nicer but the signal sucked. I have been an android guy before this since the beginning and always had a blackberry as well. I loved the blackberry bold 9930 except for the camera- the keyboard was out of this world good and phone felt amazing in the hand but the browser and lack of apps led me to return to android at the time.
I truely hope blackberry turns it around, they are a great phone but need to either get android on their system or license out blackberry os10. Their phones create great signal strength and have good build quality, but their os7 was terrible for how long it took to get to the public. This long delay for bb10 will make or break the company but i think there is space out in the market for windows, ios, android and blackberry to meet all peoples needs

It looks a lot like webOS, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

As far as a comsumer based you can almost rule BB out, but as far as the business aspect i still think they are #1, i don't see ruling out BB anytyme in the near future where they are business they are blackberry. But i don't see them being a threat in regards to being on top. But i for one will be saving my upgrade for the new bb10 but will wait til they have em refurbish online for penny like the last three upgrades i got. In my opinion in order for it to sell successfully it need to offer at an affordable price like 199.99 since BB isn't really a top of the game right now, you have no reason to charge your typical 299.99 and up plus mail in rebate prices on ANY blackberry devices.
