Mogul gets the WinMo 6.1 treatment
An official Sprint Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM has surfaced for the HTC Mogul (aka Titan).  At CTIA Sprint vowed to upgrade many of their devices to the new version of WM, and the Titan is the second to receive the upgrade after the now discontinued Motorola Q9c.  An upgrade for the Touch is expected soon, and the Treo 800w will ship with WM 6.1 in a few weeks.

Bah... I've just never been impressed with WinMo... and 6.1 is no exception. I suppose its better than 6.0, but it's not great. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to a WinMo device again. Now... where is my Blackberry OS 4.5 for the Curve? Mojo fromhttp://www.thegeekreports.com

Is the Q9c discontinued, or the Q?

I got to use the Verizon Blackberry Curve for about two weeks and I was beginnging to like it. The internet speed on Verizon's Curve was so much faster compared to AT&T and T-Mobile's Curve. Maybe T-Mobile's 3G's service later on will be just as quick because AT&T's advertised 3G service is slower then Comcast Slowaskis...

That is because Verizon Curve sit on EVDO, which is faster than EDGE AT&T / T-Mobile uses for Blackberry. It aint 3G yet on their side.

I wonder what phone will replace the Q9c. I know the next generation of the Mogul is already being drawn up.
