An update posted on Telstra's own website, explains why the Nokia Lumia 930 launch for the Australian carrier, is delayed. After the carrier put the handset through its own testing, and approved it, an unexpected minor hardware update went through. That required Telstra to once again, put the phone through its own testing...

Announced on April 2.
3.5 months later, it's still not available for sale. Why bother announcing it?
There is simply no buzz about this phone. No wonder WP is failing in the market for premium devices.

Telstra has the slowest and least effective testing I've ever experienced. They spend months 'testing' phones only to have the same or more problems than other providers. Firmware updates are the same too. Whenever a mate on telstra is looking for a new phone I make sure they get it unlocked so they're not caught out like I was.
