Going in and out of the various gaming booths at PAX East 2014, it’s quite obvious that mobile gaming is still having some trouble penetrating the hardcore gaming market. Everyone is solidly set on traditional gaming consoles and the PC, but there’s one company that’s doing something...

Stunning graphics for a mobile device perhaps, but compared to hardcore gaming graphics, not even close. Even compared to old gen consoles. Besides that, touch controls suck....

Face it, touchscreen is never meant for hardcore gaming.

if you have a android device im pretty sure you can connected to hd tv and play with a xbox controller or buy a Bluetooth one on amazon.. i can do that on my galaxy

Not all smartphones and games support the controller. It would be an improvement if they did. Still the graphics AND sound would be hardly hardcore. Besides that, for instance Battlefield 4 is 40 GB of game, can you imagine that installed on your mobile?

Hm, I don't know..graphics and presentation yes, but the controls seem too busy and even counter effective.
And I am telling you this as a guy who finished NOVA 3's lengthy, brilliant campaign with classic touch screen controls..and had a blast.
That game is still the benchmark imo.
