Mid June launch for the LG G4 in India; pre-order now and receive your phone from a Bollywood legend
LG is now accepting pre-orders for the LG G4 dual SIM in India. Priced at the equivalent of $808 USD, those putting up the money now will have a handset reserved for them when the device launches in the middle of June. Besides reserving the phone, those who pre-order (or pre-book as they say in India) will receive an invitation to the launch event party where they might have the chance to receive their LG G4 from Bollywood legend Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.

The LG G4 features a 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 resolution screen, which combines to present a pixel density of 538 ppi. A 64-bit Snapdragon 808 SoC is under the hood, and that chipset contains a hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU and an Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of expandable storage. A 16MP rear camera includes an aperture of f/1.8 for high-quality shots under low-light conditions, and comes equipped with OIS for jitter-free photography. An 8MP snapper is in front, ready to take selfies and to host video chats. The 3000mAh removable (don't faint now) battery keeps the lights on and Android 5.1 is pre-installed.

LG is giving away some freebies for those who pre-order the phone, like a free metallic back cover which will be included inside the box, and is valued at the equivalent of $31 USD. Also inside the box is a spare battery and a charging cradle valued at $55 USD. And LG is even kicking in a one time screen replacement in case your butterfingers cause an accident. That service is worth the equivalent of $102 USD. Altogether, the freebies add up to $188 USD.

Thanks for the tip!
