How did Microsoft ever try and copy the iPhone, please tell me?

He didn't say copied the iPhone. Although, you could make the argument that they did copy the iPod. However, he's probably referring to the origin of Windows, when Bill Gates, stole the Windows concept from Macintosh. Jobs at least paid for it.

if you want to get technical gates and jobs stole there ideas from xerox, xerox is responsible for a lot of the early computer concepts. anyone remember apple suing Microsoft over the IPR for the mouse and GUI, courts decided as jobs stole the idea in the first place he had no right to it these kind of arguments are stupid its like saying Chevrolet stole the idea of a pickup truck from ford, they probably did who gives a crap

Can you really call it stealing when on thief steals from another? I think you need to go get a copy of "Pirates of Silicone Valley"

This isn't a MICROSOFT phone... from what I have read it is being made by SHARP for Microsoft.... so yyeah... SHARP makes some fantastic devices in Japan... So i am really excited. For all of you WM haters, I bet this wll be a WM phone that WORKS!

Well to behonest unless Microsoft design their own phones and stop using other 3rd parties to do it their not going anywhere in the mobile industry... they should of just called it a day and bought HTC.. they're the only company they even makes you consider buying a WM handset..
