Microsoft has finally launched the follow-up to "Smoked by Windows Phone" and this time, Meet Your Match isn't so much concerned with being quicker than your phone, but why a Nokia Lumia 920 matches up to your needs better than your current phone...

lol trueee very trueee and if they ever do IPHONE WINS i am betting my money on this. These guys are so bias. But we all know the 920 kills it

u may count it as a comparison, but still for me i need a deeper comparison, where u state where Nokia Lumia 920 beats the iPhone 5, and where the iPhone 5 beats the Nokia Lumia 920, also we need comparisons with other phones, like Samsung Galaxy SIII, and the flagships of other companies, just the way you do with every phone..

agreed. I am waiting on that one as well. Come on PA. don't let me down.

I concur. However, knowing PA they'll both have their good points (iph: app selection, small size & weight; L920: ease of use, social integration, CAMERA, screen size, resolution, sensitivity, wireless charging, integration with Windows 8, Maps/Drive, durability, reliability) and bad points (iph: small size, bugs, camera color issue, Maps, commonality, age of platform, labor issues; L920: heft, relative immaturity of the ecosystem, reliability and, um, well that is all I can think of), and call it essentially a draw, where the purchaser should choose what they prefer.

Reliability as a - for the 920 in terms of unproven system. It's also a + since it's a Nokia and they test the bejeebers out of their stuff.

No need...pretty much everything from the last 2 years is better than the iphone5. Besides...ms and apple are in bed together, so I can't see them embarrassing their spouse like that.

I still don't believe it that WP can do this. I'd have to see if for myself. If you know how to use your device then I think that will make you the winner. I still think I can pull out a BlackBerry Bold 9900 or an HTC Evo 4G LTE and smoke WP. but that's just my opinion.

oh this'll be funny to see them try to pull off with me. xD
i hope they still do the Smoked by Windows Phone challenges though because even though it's rigged garbage the guys at the Microsoft Store i go to still give me a $25 gift card when i lose and i change phones often so i'll just go in there, stack gift cards and buy stuff. i buried all but $50 for some Beats Solos last time i went. i sold those and bought some Mixrs but now i want the Pill! xD

Yeah, WP is catching up but a top tier Android is still the dominant phone.

does that include the china knock-offs using android? you so proud of that?

For a select amount of things, it probably is better. Overall, start the debate.
It was funny to hear an iPhone user say their phone sucks though.

When theyre having dinner. Notice how they ask the guy what phone he has and theres an iphone 4 on the table and they cut to him saying iphone 5 and its gone. And then cut back and its bavk again.

You can tell the difference?

In the second video they are going against the HTC Inspire. That was released 2 years ago. What phone put out today couldn't beat a phone released 2 years ago? I'm sure WP8 is going to be a force to be reckoned with, but considering the rate of technology advance, it'd be like comparing a 1990 5.0 Mustang & a 2012 Corvette. Come on guys, you're better than this.

the girl in the last video is stupid. she started to panic and wasn't able to send the text. the first video i agree the 920 has a better camera and the second video shouldn't be used at all. it compared a phone running android 2.3 and older camera and video spec to the much newer 920. show me a video of someone trading their gs3 or droid dna then i will believe it

That's the only way they can actually score. You don't expect MS to post a comparison where competition beats the crap outa them, do you?

WP8 seems to be a really nice device, maybe even something I would consider getting but lets be real. This whole our phone is better than your phone thing just doesn't fly. Maybe for the average consumer that whole thing was impressive, but again... the tech heads know its a rigged challenge. MS needs to start standing on its own 2, and give up the challenges. It reeks of desperation.

Now compare it to a high end android phone like the Note 2, Galaxy S3, Evo 4G LTE, Optimus G, or Nexus 4 instead of an outdated phone like the Inspire 4G.
