Microsoft's Elop to handle keynote chores at Super Mobility Week event in Vegas
Microsoft's Stephen Elop gets to tell everyone how it feels to be back at Microsoft, when he makes a keynote speech during "Super Mobility Week" in Las Vegas. The week-long event begins on September 9th. Elop isn't likely to announce new Lumia models at the event, but is expected to discuss future plans for Lumia smartphones and Surface tablets.

"Super Mobility Week" is put together by the CTIA and will feature keynote speeches from Sprint CEO Dan Hesse, Verizon CEO Dan Mead, and AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson. Conspicuous by his absence is T-Mobile CEO John Legere.

The music director for the event, and the leader of the house band is Thomas Dolby. You might remember Dolby from his 1980's hit, "She Blinded Me with Science."

There is a mobile app associated with Super Mobility Week. If you are going to the event, it will help you arrange your schedule in real time, and alerts from event staff will make sure that you don't miss a thing that you want to see. The app is available for free, at the Google Play Store and the App Store, for Android and iOS users respectively.
