Is it sad that all I can think about is Blue Screen of Death and where's the start button?

I have yet to see the blue screen of death on any win7 or 8 devices, and the start button is useless. - why are people all hating on the new UI? Its the same as the old one just bigger and instead of portrait it is now landscape and is made of tiles, live tiles so you can see everything that is happening quickly...
Why are people so reluctant to change?
