Microsoft to unveil 3 Windows Phone 7 devices
On October 11th, Microsoft will be unveiling the first 3 Windows Phone 7 devices to hit AT&T. The 3 phones will be produced by big name manufacturers HTC, Samsung and LG.

Much has been said about the upcoming Windows Phone 7 operating system from Microsoft. To finally see some cold hard facts about hardware coming out is a nice treat. The only thing that remains is the official specs, and the price points at which these phones will be offered.

Several Windows Phone 7 devices have leaked. It’s about time that they become official, so those anticipating this release have something to look forward to. The probable release date for these devices is looking like early November, the same time frame that was previously reported.

The Wall Street Journal was the first to break this news, and is also reporting that AT&T will partake in the marketing campaign for Windows Phone 7 devices. This is much like the way Verizon talks up their Android line with their “Droid Does” campaign.

Windows Phone 7 is around the corner, are you excited? Or do you find yourself underwhelmed by this impending release, given the quality of operating systems that already reign supreme? Leave us your thoughts in the comments below.

I'm very excited with WinPho7 being released! It tooks really very nice! I think i'll get the LG Optimus 7, with or without the keyboard or HTC HD7! but all depends on cpu power, ram etc.

I have to say that it's about damn time that Microsoft has a promising mobile OS. I'm excited for them. Although I'm a iOS user I know when to give credit when its due.

I agree. WM/Pocket PC was very old and outdated (1998) and this new look is stunning and the integration with MS services is what I am excited about. Outlook and the rest of the office suite... even the XBox live integration is pretty cool! Stupid GSM only options... but it will be worth the wait, I would rather get a LTE WP7 device when it finally has CDMA bands for voice, as I am a VZW user. I am jealous of you AT&T and T-Mo early adopters.

I just got an android from being a WinMo guys for the last couple of years, so I'm going to give it a try. But I'm going to keep an eye on WinMo7. I might be switching some time next year if MS keeps improving the OS. So far I like what I see.

Win MO 7 certainly exites me, Competition between diffrent OS manufacturers Always brings out the best for their users.. Lets Hope MS drops a really good bomb on the existing OS to make itself count in the game.. As for me I always want what is the BEST in market... supported by a very good hardware..
