Windows Phone 8 owners are seeing some of the native storage on their device consumed by a mysterious category called "other"; a tweet from Joe Belfiore not only admits to the problem, but also hints that a fix will be coming in a future update although users can try to free up some space by turning off the SkyDrive auto-upload feature...

Thee 'Other' storage keeps expanding day by day and the worst part is you don't even know what's causing it..i think its 'shadow' files. Basically, when you delete something from the phone, like browsing history or uninstalling apps, it actually still keeps some data on the phone, like what windows on desktop does too.

I hvnt had a problem with space on my surface or 920 meaning I'm not running low
