Microsoft says Google is blocking development of official YouTube app for Windows Phone

So first there's a petition aimed at Google to develop apps for WP and now Microsoft is trying to badger Google to do so? First Youtube and then what else? Maybe if Microsoft would stfu about how WP is supposedly better than Android and "ask properly", as @xperia knight has said, there wouldn't be a problem. But Ms being the arrogant pricks that they are, they don't want to resort to that and instead would rather force it on Google. Way to prove that your better. And to all the WP users out there, what's the point in trying to brag about your OS when they're standing there bitching about s**t that they might as well make their own viral video site. They just know it wouldn't be a success, so this is what they resort to. Try this, make a live tile and put s petition for Ms to stop being stupid.

Microsoft should make a new video-streaming service to compete with youtube and make it exclusive to windows phone and windows. Because it worked out so well with Bing.

Even if they are, it's probably because Microsoft has been such a bunch of s**theads in their Windows Phone marketing, Droidrage being the Prime example. Also Microsoft tends to verbally take a dump on all of their competitors all the time.

google sucks.... it does.... i use google chrome, google earth, google maps, gmail and picassa but i dont like how google knows all my data...

I wasn't under the impression that Google was obligated to provide MS with YouTube. I guess MS better call up Apple and let them know they also demand iTunes.

Well i think msoft should disable the chrome browser on all windows machines. Its sad to see a company like google, which a while back i really thought did no evil, prectically bite the hand thats feeding it. Hadnt it been for msoft and windows google would still be in a shed or wherever they started.

Seriously I love the fanboys on this site.. Just like politics all sides saying their preferred OS is better or that OS is better. Who cares.. I like each for different reasons.. Phones I much prefer WP8, even coming from Android, on tablet I have a Android and Apple and love them too.. Only poor bastards are fanboys..buy all

Google has the right to not make Windows Mobile apps, but I am sure it is in the works, when it is viable.

sadly,they will release their apps eventually. but MS needs to learn some lessons first. they trolled really hard on google/android. now its time for google to troll at them. same thing happened to apple.

Funny that Microsoft whines about stuff that they actually do to others. The XBOX Live app for Android is not as good as their own for Windows phones. Their waypoint app for Halo needs to be updated to include Halo 4. Compare google with microsoft and you will see that google does a much better job with their apps on other platforms, although, not perfect.
