Microsoft resumes the roll out of its mini update to Samsung handsets
Microsoft has been rolling out a mini update for WP handsets for more than a week now, but some problems with it have been reported, and the end result was that quite a few Samsung handsets were "bricked". Now, however, Microsoft has officially announced that these issues with the update have been resolved, and the software giant is once again dispatching it to Samsung phones.

This mini update is significant, because it paves the way for the first major Windows Phone update, which is popularly known as NoDo.

Has your WP-running Samsung handset received the mini update?

I can't wait to tell all my Windows Phone friends about this... oh yeah, none of them use Windows Phone.

'Bout as clever as ton of bricks.

Awesome... That was quick. Only goes to show how heavily invested MS is in their product. Investing in WP7 would not be a high risk gamble, they are going up and up and up.

i have a samsung focus and i look forward to any updates from microsoft. so far i really enjoy the simplicity of the Windows OS. it may not be a powerhouse like the Atrix but nonetheless it is a good cell phone

Microsoft still hasnt updated my focus. I understand this will be slow since the cant afford another F-up and more bad press, but how long are we going to wait? I am almost 100% sure that nodo will be delayed for us samsung users as well.
