0. phoneArena 11 Jul 2013, 18:56 posted on

We have heard bits and pieces about the next update for Windows Phone 8, codenamed GDR2, and we were getting pretty excited to see some of the features that were rumored to be included. Today, Microsoft posted the changelog for the GDR2 update, and unfortunately it doesn't list the features that we expected to see, although that doesn't mean they won't be in the update...

well to be honest I really don't care about CalDAV and CardDAV support for Gmail, I like what's come with the update :)

Awesome update. Is this 8.1 or does that come later?

Just imagine if that lumia 1020 came out with:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or 800
And maybe a 1080p display
If they only waited for that GDR update,i would have switched to windows phone without a hesitation.others specs are excellent except that mid range SoC.

I think you'll see them produce an updated flagship in the fall that has this camera module as well as the rest of what you're asking for (1080P, better processor, and graphics unit). It's Microsoft that needs to catch up, and Nokia is waiting on them to update their OS...
