Microsoft offering a free Nokia wireless charging plate with the purchase of new Nokia Lumia Icon

If you have your eye on the newly available Nokia Lumia Icon for Verizon, Microsoft has added a little incentive to pick one up them (either in-store or online) in lieu of going to Verizon directly.

Now through March 16, if you buy a Lumia Icon on a new two-year agreement, Microsoft will throw in a free Nokia wireless charging plate. That is roughly at $30-$50 value (depending on where you buy one) by itself.

Wireless charging is convenient, and it saves wear and tear on placing and pulling the USB plug on the device. Since it is a feature built into many Nokia Lumia devices, having a wireless charging plate handy is not such a bad thing.

The promotion is good until mid-March or while supplies last and you can have the charging plate in any color you want, as long as it is black.
