Usually Microsoft doesn't comment on speculations and rumors. But if they say it is fake I believe it's probably true.

As long as they make Windows 8 on ARM (or tablet PC's) as optimized and fluid as the experience on Windows Phone, I still see no reason for me to buy an iPad :) iPad is the beast among tablets, but it's still just a crippled (mobile) OS, not the whole experience. I want the real deal, I want Windows 8. So ... I'll get my Office anyway ;)

Technically you can get it right now. Buy a Win7 tablet and install the Win8 beta that I'm typing on right now

I don't see this happening. The iPad is the antithesis of the PC, and Office is the meat and bones of a Windows PC. If MS revamps Office to work well without a mouse & hot keys, it would drive more people away from the PC. So, they might get $150 for a version of iPad Office, but they would probably lose as much or more on the PC side. Also, who is ready to pay $150 for a mouseless, mono-tasking version of Office on a tablet?

iPhreaks. Double the price for anything available anywhere for any other OS, slap it on iOS, and they buy it in droves. I need to patent and copyright iPhreaks, BTW

No doubt it is fake but as with all things apple just a sniff of something or rumour builds months of ifan frenzy,mass periods of ifan drooling lead to mass population dehydration and ultimately the end result of dissapointment when what they thought it would or could be will never actually exist.

If this App is real then Microsoft would cripple any chances that Windows 8 tablets would have against iPad...
