Microsoft fixes that pesky bug with file attachments and images in OneNote for iOS
If you're a long time OneNote user on the iOS platform, then you've most likely been affected by an annoying issue that didn't allow you to view file attachments and images.

The bug seems to have been introduced in one of the previous OneNote updates and turned out a pretty hard nut to crack since Microsoft has taken a lot of time to address it.

But with the latest version of OneNote that has just been released in the App Store, you shouldn't have any troubles viewing file attachments and images within the app.

However, if you still have issues achieving that, Microsoft advises you to close and re-open the notebook whenever your file attachments won't open, or your images appear as a placeholder with a red X.

This small update is also supposed to address another issue that some customers are seeing with recurring sign-in prompts. Microsoft claims that its engineers are working hard to track down and resolve this specific bug.

Some fixes have been implemented in this release, which hopefully will help with those who own OneDrive accounts. If you're still affected by this issue the only way to help is to provide feedback, so Microsoft can try and fix it again.
