I would say they ARE innovating. Surface, Windows 8, next-gen Xbox, Windows Phone, Office, Outlook.com, Bing, Internet Explorer 10... They have an excellent portfolio overall and are less the "evil empire" than they were 15 years ago; now they're just the biggest and best.

That said, it is good there is competition, as the CONSUMER benefits in the end.

The goal of MICROSOFT WERE making your competitor can't compete and make Microsoft be the monoploy.

ex. FAT file system.
Microsoft on purpose using this to make Linux/Android have a hard time (since must pay MS $$).

Another ex....
Microsoft trying to sabotage HTML5 'run everywhere'. Microsoft trying to make their flavored of HTML5 by excluding the WEBGL. Why? To make the web incompatible to other standard, and make Internet Exploder 10 to become standard.

Microsoft BIG = NOT GOOD FOR CUSTOMER.
because if Microsoft BIG, other company die.

MICROSOFT IS STILL AS EVIL AS IT USED TO BE.
They just getting better at hiding it, and hiring lots of journalist to bend the story.

Nokia is one of the example of MICROSOFT VICTIM. It's doing fine and suddenly DEAD. If Nokia really think it's Symbian & Meego can't compete, they should just use android instead.

If nokia can beat samsung in WP sales number, nokia can surely beat samsung in Android sales number.

From 3.5 Million user visited scroogled.com ONLY 114K signed for a petition!!!
It show that ONLY 3% BELIEVE in microsoft bull s**t.

What devastating for microsoft were the BACK FIRE of the campaign.
People DO REMEMBER THAT MICROSOFT IS THE EVIL EMPIRE.
We don't forget what Microsoft did to DR-DOS, NOVEL, NETSCAPE, SENDO, NOKIA.

they're all evil. I wonder what the three giants (Google, Apple, Microsoft* or Yahoo) are doing to help the silicon valley, Oakland, and SF community.
