Compete?? I could compete with dwayne wade in a game of 21. Does this mean I even stand a small fraction of a chance winning? Absouletly not.

...To be more precise, if you take a close look athttp://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/04/29/microsoft-reiterates-what-we-knew-no-first-party-handse t-no-zu/ , and I mean a close look, you'll see that MS has no intentions of jumping into it with a MS handset. Project Pink is software on the device put out by a third party manufacturer, such as their favorite homeboys HTC. There may be rumors of a Zune phone coming, but I've also heard of a Xbox 360 phone, a PSP phone, etc, etc. Rumors, that's it, that's all. And with them straight up saying they're not doing, your speculation is about as dumb as the last comment I had to respond to. THINK BEFORE POSTING, PLEASE!!!

I just don't see how this is news at all. From how I read this, it's like any other WM phone out there. Some company makes the physical handset, and MS makes the software/hardware to go on it. How will this phone be anything other than any other smartphone running a WM OS? Sounds stupid to me!
