I would call it a horrible replacement for the roots of the product (Live Mesh)... the first venture was fantastic, i even was prepared to leave Dropbox for it (better security, better management in the cloud, easier permissions management as well as more advanced)... then Windows Live Mesh came out (ugh, no-where near close to Live Mesh)... now SkyDrive...

I would hapilly spit on whoever axed Live Mesh... if it wouldnt get my thrown in jail of course...

I should point out by better security I meant files not being sent in plain text, as well as share's not leading to the root folder and such as Dropbox did/does depending on where you are sharing from...

I should also note that I have moved to the TorrentSync... LOADS of work needed, but sick and tired of not having more control!

British Sky Broadcasting needs to relax. And consider yourself having one customer less.

It's something from the Twillight Zone to deny the right to use the name Sky for a totally different service than TV broadcasting.
MS should shut down the service alltogether in UK; the phones could be delivered without SkyDrive (but with the possibility to install it the first time one configures the device from a server outside UK); buying extra space could be done from US store (Ireland, Germany, France etc).

I'm sure Diesel jeans are called something else in UK; I don't know about british people but I got a diesel engine car when I aked for a pair of pants and I was so dumb, I could not figure it out by myself...
