When we hear about anti-competitive lawsuits against a corporation in Europe, that is usually Microsoft with its endless Windows browser bundling, but this time around Microsoft...

Nokia doesn't need to worry about Apple and their piece of s**t phones. The biggest operating systems are now Windows Phone and Android.

Hmm.. its Windows 98 all over again.. eh Microsoft.
I have to admit I hate Google with a passion. They seem to get away with almost anything these days and need a reality check.

What the hell is there for them to get away with?

Google doesn't really do anything shady. And until they do, this whole concept of them as a shadowy evil force is ludicrous.

...OR.....OR....or why can't they just make a better product? Android works, period. Now if you want to compete, then make a better/appealing ecosystem and a better device to go with it.

What a bunch of losers...Microsoft is just bitter that nobody wants to pay for their Windows OS licensing fee

Wow, why so aggressive against WP? It's not like Google bitched it and bought Motorola for just their patents. Nokia own 16,000 patents that are phone related. They can do whatever they want really. Nokia aren't winning the game, but they literally have it.

They bought Motorola for patents to defend Android, AND to make phones so they could cover their own bases with a backup plan. Let's not forget that.

Eh what? Nokia aren't winning the game, but they literally have it? What in the hell does that even mean? MS gives away it's service with it's OS all the time, when you buy a PC or laptop or netbook, do they not come chock full of MS owned products? Your rose-tinted glasses are on too tight. Google scooped up Motorola because of the patents so they can defend their OS from patent suits. This isn't a patent suit so why are you bringing that up is beyond the scope of this suit.
Your sig shows that you are one biased individual, my android phone has the ability to choose which search engine to use...I'm not forced to use Google, Bing or Yahoo. Nor am I forced to use anything from Google, I choose to use them. How often does MS Office doc have hang ups with other Word Processors not made by MS?

Well this is pretty idiotic. I mean, what's wrong with what's Google doing? Android is their OWN product afterall, so why can't they put their OWN services on their OWN OS?

That's like saying Nokia should get sued for not letting apps like Nokia Drive work on other WP8 phones.

I've lost all respect for Nokia now. They are truly Microsoft's bitch. Once again, MS has formed a coalition to attempt to stop the rise of Android because their s**tty product can't compete. Google OWNS Android. So why is it wrong that they bundle their services with THEIR OS? MS does it with Windows. Apple does it with iOS. Samsung does it with their products. So does Amazon with the Kindle. But because Google and Android are destroying MS and Windows, and because NOBODY wants WP8, they sue to stop the competition. Now, just like with CRAP Apple, I will NEVER use another MS product again. s**tty ass company. -

Would Microsoft and Nokia sue Google if Android wasn't free? Probably not... this is what's hurting Microsoft, NO phone/tablet manufacturer wants to pay for their half @ssed overpriced Operating system....$50 licensing fee vs a much much superior FREE product? LOL. ... I feel sorry for Nokia for this colossal blunder.

They're almost right, because if MS has been forced to include the browser selection screen in Windows this should be true for everyone, be it Google, Apple or whoever.
The problem is that if this is true for Android, it should be true for Windows Phone too. Isn't Bing the default search engine in WP? Isn't Bing Maps the default maps application? Or Outlook the default mail? And IE the default browser? Why am I not presented a screen where I can choose between those services and Google equivalents (Google Search, Maps, Chrome and GMail)?
So they should do the same with WP.
My opinion is that whoever makes an OS, whether it's free or not, has the right to put whatever he likes in it. And so the original mistake was the one that started it all: force MS to include the Ballot Screen in Windows. Now they can claim that others should do the same.

Google might have used the patent that invented by Microsoft them. In this world no one can really sue Nokia. If they sue it Nokia will sue the others of using their tech WIFI, Bluetooth and other stuff. WIFI and Bluetooth are the main components we used it everywhere.

Those who go for Google you should really read the book about Rockefeller of being the monopoly of oil refinery in the united state. Microsoft is a monopoly but it view differently by other. Microsoft is fully supported by the government of quite a lot of countries in the world. It is one of the oldest and the best OS we have today.

The other companies no one has probably even heard of and are probably shell outfits for MS and or Apple. Happens all the time, heck Apple has shell outfits that they create and had over patents so they can patent troll Android OEM's. Bury your head in the sand ostrich.
