0. phoneArena 30 Aug 2013, 19:39 posted on

Back in July (hard to believe that it was only a month ago), we told you about a handset called the the Meizu MX3; the phone is top-shelf all the way from the 13MP camera on back, to the Exynos 5 Octa SoC under the hood. The 5.1 inch screen carries resolution of 1080 x 1920 and where we were growing up, that was called FHD, Mister...

That's a lot of storage on a phone.

That's what the cloud is for. I'd still take the 128 GB any day.

I wish all these China made phones come with atleast a decent build.
Usually the innards are a beast but the outward feel doesn't match with the stuff inside... There are some exceptions but the image of the phone looks disappointing...the back seems to be shouting 'China' all over again.

I'm not a fan of Samsung, but trust me...even if Samsung uses glossy plastic, the design and aesthetics is far more superior.

Made in China doesn't always mean being cheap, a lot of the stuff coming form there happens to be innovative/original improving though not quite there yet (EG: The ZTE Tegra 4 device/Ascend P6) but most importantly, a far cry form the KIRF days of early Meizu. Yes I will agree there are still many cheap looking knock offs that are downright nasty but there are a lot of quality original designs and materials in the non KIRF OEMs (How many of us on here knew Oppo just one year ago outside of china and dvd players) who just want to make a break and emerge as the next rising stars to challenge the established elite of HTC/Samsung/LG/Apple/Sony/Nokia etc.

Meizu is better build quality than Samsung by far. THe main problem with these phones is they will never make it to the US because they don't have LTE and the bands to use 3g and 4g on GSM.

The reason it is so cheap is because they take a reasonable price on their phone unlike most companies outside of china that charge 3-4x more than the phone cost to make.

The back looks fugly.
Love the CPU Exynos E5420 or E5410 maybe! Finally a device with no Snapdragon halfbaked A9-A15 SOCs!!!!!!!
Pure A15 power!

All these articles about phones in China (Xiaomi Red Rice/MIUI phones, Meizu, etc.) Will any of these actually make in the States? It's very nice that these phones are much more affordable, but kind of useless information if they stay in their homeland territories.

That is more storage than my old Laptop. If anyone needs that much storage for their phone, they need to step into some sunlight badly.

If that phone can get carried over to us from a major carrier then it would work out very well. Might even give the main US carriers a competition and make them actually work a bit harder to make phones that give people a run for their money.

i would like to see micro 128GB+ SD cards or even more built in the phone..

I don't understand why the extra native storage is so expensive when SD cards are so much cheaper. Just seems like crazy profit margins.
