A new 14.1.B.510 major firmware update for the Sony Xperia Z Ultra (C6802) has started rolling out in the Asia-Pacific region, and it brings along some overdue goodies.

I agree. Obviously this built is the one that will debut in the forthcoming Xperia Z1 too and it was meant for the Z Ultra too, but Sony rushed the Z Ultra in order not to have these models presented too close to each other. This means that the Z Ultra debuted with half-baked firmware. Not so nice.

It was mainly an issue with their 2012 range and some of their 2011 phones.

Hopefully I get this update soon and it fixes the Google Play store crash BS. Great device though other than that.
