The infinity has the best display yet, but a bit too expensive... Seems like Asus is following iPad's prices... And even more expensive but waaaaaay better than any iPad and even iPad 3. They should really try hard to fit a full usb 2.0 like Acer did with their tablets.

Well, by now I can say for sure, that this year in Barcelona, Nokia 808 PureView stole the crown and proved that it's back in the game!

Dear everyone,

Most of us don't like our phones too big (remember when we used to call them mobile?), so stop with the 4.5"+ bulls**t. There is a sweet spot, and you've blown way past it. Honestly, with the rampant battery life issues across every brand, it's a little absurd that the consumers should have to point this out to you.

Until human hand sizes evolve to be 20% larger in size, we will take the smaller screen, better portability and battery life.

Thanks.

Couldn't agree with you more. I will most likely pick up an asus padfone or HTC one s because they're 4.3" and sadly that's probably going to be the smallest that good quality smartphones will be from now on :/

If I was ever the CEO of a big phone manufacturer, I would always make sure that I had a couple of people on the internet looking at the comments of sites like engadget, phonearena etc. so that my company would see idea's like this and tell whoever's in charge these ideas because there are probably a lot of ideas that big companies are missing out on that many of us are complaining about and that could really help the companies sales. I really hope that Samsung, HTC, Sony, etc. would do this because it would get them more money and give us phones that we would enjoy more.

Dear Jabberwocky,

Many of us do indeed enjoy the large screens. Im lovin the big screen on my Galaxy Nexus and it is still quite mobile, I hardly notice it in my pocket, and look at the crazy success of the note. I agree that there need to be smaller phones as well, but I just wanted to chime in and show that the phone companies aren't crazy. Many people in fact love the bigger screens.

but a couple of 4.0" high end phones would be nice for people who dont enjoy/need the bigger screens

7. maier9900 posted on 28 Feb 2012, 19:28 3

4.0" is the best screen size for a phone!

few years ago 3.5 were considered as the sweet spot :D

11. jabberwocky posted on 29 Feb 2012, 06:57

Yes this is what I mean. I would like to see more top end hardware in more reasonable screen sizes.

The fact that 3.5" is still too small for most people doesn't mean that one day 5" will be looked at as reasonable. There is a finite limitation based on human pocket and hand sizes that will settle in - and for me they have hit it.

I'm cool with a couple freakish devices like the Note so really big humans and bigfoot have something that is comfortable for them, but at some point it's like just get a 7" tabphone and be done with it.

Quite disappointed with the much anticipated new Samsung tablet (except for the 10.1 Note)...I mean, come on, Samsung Galaxy tab 2?!!! I'm now eyeing on both the Asus Transformer Prime and Pad Infinity. Better start saving for these 2 babies.

Today, get to hear more details of Windows 8.

and more HTC today.

The only thing I am disappointed is no keyboard phones at all. None. Every phone mentioned is a slab. Not sure if its a good or bad hting.
