Looking for a thrill? AT&T now calls for summer release of the LG Thrill 4G

With the HTC EVO 3D about to launch in a couple of days, AT&T has decided to move the launch of the 3D enabled LG Thrill 4G to "this summer" from "in the coming months"; with glasses-free 3D capable of being viewed from its 4.3 inch screen, the LG Thrill 4G will launch with Android 2.2 on board...

Since I am no where near a Sprint store, I am very interested in the release of the Thrill. While I am not blown away by anything LG has done, the Optimus line has been a good set of devices. Maybe the Thrill earns some brownie points. I am not as interested in the 3D as I am the specs, but I have to admit I am curious ....

I doubt the battery life will be up to par. However, if this thing is thinner than the Atrix then it might sell.

Knowing that LTE is coming soon, why does anyone care about this phone? A High-end phone that is guaranteed to be obsolete within a few months? Also, I would argue that the Infuse, with it's faster radio and side-loading capability is arguably AT&T's "most powerful" phone, single-core chip and all...
