phone seems like a great concept... we will see how it performs... i wish sprint luck with this phone.. the success of the pre only means that every other carrier will have to continue to offer its customer newer/better devices to keep up.

unless every single smartphone user on sprint purchases the Pre, palm would not gain their desired (and at one time dominant) marketshare for PDA/Smartphones. AT&T kept the iPhone becuase it expanded a large enough customer base to their 70+ million subscribers at the time of its launch plus the additional new subscribers. RIM kept the storm on VZW for the same reason. Palm has already said they will make the pre and "pre-like" devices for other carriers. This will get a good response and hopefully entice people to buy Palm again, but I think the "intelligent" person on AT&T and VZW will not jump on the sprint "now" bandwagon... as there will be better stuff later on their respective carriers.
