Just as rumored for a while now, Windows Phone 8 will have Live Apps, which will update in real time, and can push information to the lock screen. That screen usually doesn't do much but display static information, or update the basic things like messages, calls, weather and so on...

Apple - yeah. Google? Hell no.
Android already has something like that - it's called Widgetlocker - and it allows you to put any widget you want on your lock screen.

Typical response from a defensive delusional windows phone fanboy. Your OS has NEVER mattered and still only commands less that 10 % of market share world wide, you can only dream of the numbers that IOS and Android garner. Android not important? That is highly doubtful, the average Joe will still flock to what they are familiar with, what Windows is, is a complete heap of mess and confusion of it's home screen, not the most intuitive OS in the world.

lol what a loser. Typical fandroid response. "My OS is best and most complex and everyone loves it" I'm not a windows fan boy ive never even owned a windows phone. I'm just interested in it, and android bores me. Sorry that that is such a problem to you.

they seem lol they are is different windows 8 , surface , and windows phone 8 aka lumia 920 go going all the way in put it down on paper .
