Live from Times Square it's the Motorola Droid!

Before Disney took over Times Square, the area was a much different place attracting a different type of person. Now, the area is suitable for a family night out. You can take the Wife and the tots out to see a Disney produced Broadway show and take in all of the energy and lights of the City. Who knows, you might run into a famous celebrity like Barbara, Billy, John or Droid. Huh? According to one of BGR's tipsters, as part of the never ending "Droid does" promotion, Motorola is going to be presenting "Droid does Times Square" (which in the old days would have left the handset with a $75 ticket and a lecture from one of New York's finest). As part of the festivities, people will get the opportunity to control two of the district's huge electronic billboards using voice commands. No confirmation yet on talk that the Droid will host an episode of Saturday Night Live this season.
