Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer for iPhone and iPod takes your songwriting on the go

For those of you out there who think that they are the next John Lennon or Paul McCartney, Line 6 has a peripheral for your iPhone or iPod that allows you to take your songwriting on the go. The MIDI Mobilizer works with the MIDI Memo Recorder, available for free from iTunes. The hardware will be released sometime this Spring at a price that still needs to be determined. With the Mobilizer and the Recorder, you will be able to record, play and transfer MIDI sequences on the go. If you're writing with someone, you can send your work in progress to your partner via email. The power for the hardware comes from your Apple device. The whole idea is to bring your musical ideas wherever you go with the chance to edit or make additions away from the studio. Custom settings can be reproduced on borrowed equipment. It's a handy tool for musicians, especially those touring. With the constant travel, you can put your next album right in your jeans pocket.
