Limited Edition Transformers Versa on its way
Did you love the first Transformers movie and can't wait for the sequel "Revenge of the Fallen" to be released on June 24th? If so, then LG has the phone for you. The Limited Edition Versa will feature unique Transformers branding on the battery cover and QWERTY keyboard attachment. We're not sure if there will be any Transformers user interface themes, pictures, or movie trailers on the Limited Edition Versa, like there was on the Dark Knight edition of the Nokia 6205 last year. There is no date or pricing of the new Versa, but we'd expected it out at least a few weeks prior to the movie.

Wow. I never thought that was a trend that we'd see more of from VZ. If you like batman or transformers that much, cool. I'd probably buy a skin though so that when you don't like them that much you can change it.

Gotta love big red. Same phone different colors and styles. If they put as much thought into getting different phones as they do figuring out how they can keep the same device and change the color then they would have great phones. The only decent phones they have are their Blackberry's.

As picky as VZW is about Devices that get activated to the network, I imagine it is much more cost effective to offer multiple colors of the same phone than push additional phones through the full testing process. Just glad this time around, the theme phone is a better choice than the not-so-popular Nokia....

LOL! Yeah, to 12 yr. olds! The only movie themed phone I'd prolly ever buy would be one for Pulp Fiction...and MAYBE Crank. You gotta love Jason Statham!

You may love Jason Statham, but I'd rather have Megan Fox any day of the week. He is right, she is hot.

Im setting the scene here... On a daily basis I see little children with cell phones, youngest so far has been probably around 8 years old. . . Now the Transformers phone might not appeal to you narrow minded geeks who dont understand why any company would market a phone that isnt directly appealing to you, however there is a wide range of user on Verizon Wireless' network who might just appreciate the Transformers phone. I know if I was 8 again, and I had a cellphone I would absolutely bug the pants off of my parents for a Transformers phone and wouldnt give a hill of beans about any Blackberry. So think about it.... Ill say it again, one of the greatest things I learned as I was growing up was to "Think before I speak" you should try that sometime!
