Limited Edition DROID R2-D2 model comes with specially themed dock

With the limited edition DROID R2-D2 Star Wars Special Edition handset getting closer to the September 30th day of launch (remember, online sales only!), some new information has somehow eluded the Empire and ended up in our hands. Remember the dock for the first-gen Motorola DROID that turned the handset into an alarm clock and weather station? A Star Wars themed model of the dock will be included with the purchase of the special edition DROID 2. The back of the dock has the Star Wars logo etched on it.

Also, another section of the Landing site has been highlighted which means two humans have now each won one of the limited edition DROID 2 models. As we reported, you need to translate R2-D2's transmissions and other clues to unlock each part of the landing site. The person who unlocks one of the 8 sections first gets a free phone. So far, the schematics for Apps and Widgets and Device Gallery have been "recovered".
