The government seems intent on killing the LightSquared LTE network, but the tests which are being cited in the rejection of the LightSquared FCC filing are under question from both LightSquared as well as a former FCC chief engineer...

Michael - how is Carl Icahn buying LightSquared debt at a discount making the connection that he is about to buy LightSquared? If he was going to buy LightSquared, he would be taking an equity position. I suspect Icahn is positioning himself for a payday if LightSquared ends up in liquidation (bondholders come before equityholders...).

Yeah this confirms that the FCC is a joke. I wonder who's paying them to screw LS.
