I don't think the iphone sucks, it's just apple fanboys are so easy to hate. They are the equivalent to technology hipsters, so damn smug. The phone is innovative and the UI is great, but there is just alot of phones out there that do the same things and much better. Why can't everybody just tip their hat to the iphone, because it has pushed phones forward and ultimately the consumer across the board will win in the end.

UI great, so they fixed the way you have to clear to the main screen every time you wish to change over to a different function

Too bad Verizon doesn't have anything better. I'll take the iphone issues anyday, that's why I'm switching

You are so freakin blind! Half of Verizon phones kill iphone. Dare is so much more superior than iphone ever was or will be.

Anyone who thinks the lame DARE is better then the iPhone has never used the iPhone. I've used both and can tell you anyone who used an iPhone would HATE the dare.

Seriously, I have tired all Verizon phones and in the end, not even on looks they get to be close to the iPhone.. and i'm one that wanted to be with VZW over ATT.. I dont have the iPhone yet, but after messing with it a few times, not is much easier to use and type on it then I expected, but is easier to use then the Dare and Glyde phones.. The only one phone I would concider at this time over the iPhone would be the Samsung Instinct, but at this moment,, I am not a fan of Sprint at all, so getting hte Instinct for me is out of the question..

ive had the iphone canceled the service not even 30 days later and sold the phone i ebay yes it is a really nice phone great for the person on the go the down side its with at&t. im still with verizon with my envy the dare is a POS its looks cheap and feels cheap the touch screen is cheap atleast with the iphone u can tap the screen the dare u have to pound the screen. the good thing is by the end of 08 when the take over of alltel is complete (VZW is now the US largest cell phone provider) they will unlock there network to phones and apps that met there specs. this means u can get a samsung instinct and have it work on the verizon network. or any cdma phone.

That's a dumb comment. In addition to the iPhone troubles, at&t has what is consistently rated the worst coverage (or second worse, only beating Sprint) in the country. What Verizon has better is reliable service that is consistently ranked the best in the country. Have fun with your defective toy on a non-working network. Should be a blast! Just don't shoot yourself when you see how your phone will work for the next two years.

So by switching to the iphone you like: - the ability to NOT put insurance on your iphone - the ability to NOT download music OTA (over the air) - the ability to NOT get a new or extended battery in a store - the ability to be on a network with less coverage, more dropped calls, and second class customer service - the ability to NOT have an actual QWERTY keyboard you can slide out or filp open - the ability to be on a 3G network that is only available in large metropolitan areas - the ability to be limited to WIFI areas if you want fast internet speeds - the ability to NOT have removable/expandable memory - the ability to NOT have actual turn-by-turn GPS on the go - the ability to NOT have your defective iPhone worked on/switched out at your local store -the ability to NOT "Hear Me Now?"

actually bud i've had plenty of customers who actually were currently using the iPhone and switched to the dare because of lockups, reception issues on the handset, and stability. I also used the IPhone myself and i do admit that it is the best touchscreen by far but im not going to sacrifice getting a good touchscreen over all the other services that phone cannot offer and the dare can. Its all about what you need, if all you care about is how accurate and versitile ur touchscreen is get the iphone, if you care about service, speed, and reliability with an okay touchscreen get the Dare, not to mention working bluetooth features.

Dont get me wrong Apple makes great products, I personally have the MACBOOK AIR and an iPod Touch, i just dont want to be on a second-class network. The iphones internet browser is second-to-none, but the network is second-to-verizon and albeit a very distant second.

The Apple fanboys will be here soon to defend their beloved overpriced phone with a fruit on it, don't worry.
