Lenovo announces Yoga 11S with Intel CPU and full Windows 8

0. phoneArena posted on 06 Jan 2013, 21:24

The Lenovo Yoga 13 inch model has been one of the better options for a full touchscreen Windows 8 laptop/tablet hybrid, and there is also an 11 inch model with a Tegra 3 processor and Windows RT, but usually people kind of glaze over when they hear the term "Windows RT". Well, good news! The 11 inch Yoga is getting an upgrade to offer an Intel CPU and full Windows 8...

It will be kind of embarrassing for MS to be upstaged by one of its partners in delivering a full W8 in a less than 3 lb package (hey, even 2.9 lbs would still be embarrassing for MS when the W8 Pro edition is supposed to tip the scales in the 3.5 lb. territory). Add in specs to include an i7 CPU and it may not be worth it for MS to release their Pro tablet.

More like an Amateur in the making for MS....

Still rubbish in terms of graphics performance, HD4000 integrated graphics is a joke. It can't even run most modern games at decent performance unlike any other dedicated cardd. They could at least have used a decent midrange mobile card from the Nvidia GTX600M line.
