as an IT student... we studied OS and there are stuff called PRIORITIES and Android prioritizes processes other than UI rendering thats why people call it LAG when the transitions stop for 1 microsecond. there is also an article here in phonearena that says something about it. iOS prioritizes UI rendering which makes the phone "look fast" with no lag
