I only see this working if the tiles and Windows Phone can work in Landscape mode. Not just on text messages and Internet browsing but everything. Very neat idea.

Xbox Live on a Sony smartphone? Okay this IS weird. Apart from that, I really hope they do great in the WP7 market if they choose to enter it :)

Maybe that's why they bought Ericsson in order not to use WP.

The announcement not to put out WP7 phones was done in 2010 when the company was still both Sony AND Ericsson. So it was done by both companies not just by Sony or just by Ericsson. But now that it's just Sony, all these leaked images of WP7 phone are coming out, so maybe Sony wants to reverse that 2010 decision.

There's NO way Microsoft would let playstation on their windows phones. No way. That'd be like an iPhone having a zune music player.

please remember folks the windows smart phones may not be Popular in the USA
but Nokia and Microsoft are respected names overseas Nokia will be producing cheap
Windows smart phones for the Over seas market and will sell many window smart phones over there. Sony is a smart company if Windows smartphones take off in Japan and other places they will be ready to cash in on it's popularity and sell windows smart phones and make a profit. if LG, HTC, Samsung, and Nokia can do it, they can do it too. These Prototypes are made to give them information on how to make Windows smart phones. Microsoft wants Windows smart phones to play premium games so they can sell more smartphones. if there was a Sony App in the Xbox hub on the Windows smart phone that could play playstation games that would make the Windows smart phones a strong seller among young and old people who like to play games on their smartphones and Microsoft would sell more Windows smartphones. FoLKS Microsoft wants to save Windows smartphones HAVING SONY PREMIUM GAMES ON A WINDOWS SMART PHONE WILL HELP DO THAT AND MICROSOFT COULD MAKE MONEY FROM THE SALES OF THE SONY APPS
