Leaked document confirms release for the T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9900 - plus pricing

This time around, yet another leaked document blatantly mentions August 31st as being the launch date for all channels – with August 17th being the one for their business-to-business and enterprise channels. Moreover, we’re finally getting some understanding in regards to its pricing! If this holds true, the next-generation Berry device is going to be sporting a whopping $299.99 on-contract price point after a $50 mail-in-rebate.
Of course, that’s a lot to swallow for some people – even more when it’s not too often we see high-end smartphones breaking the golden price point of $200. Taking into account that it’s sporting a touchscreen, that iconic BlackBerry form factor, and it’s T-Mobile’s very first HSPA+ enabled BlackBerry, does it still warrant such a hefty price tag?

If Blackberry wants to be popular they got to sell their phones for less. They make the most profit out of all manufacturers for phones that arent that great in specs.

RIM (if it had any chance at all) isn't going to make up any ground with a price tag that high...

If RIM expects to get any buyers they will need to have the price to $200 on a two year contract at maximum
